Overview

 

The Sales Executive plays a crucial role in driving the company’s sales by identifying leads, pitching products or services, and maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers. This role is essential for achieving sales targets and promoting the company’s brand in the market.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Identify and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other sales techniques.
  • Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends, continuously improve through feedback.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Conduct business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with the products and services.
  • Stay current with product information, changes, and updates.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to build relationships.
  • Collaborate internally to ensure the timely delivery of solutions and services.
  • Contribute to team efforts to accomplish organizational sales and profitability goals.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/services.

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Executive or similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
