DCS/SCADA Control Systems Engineer

Job Description

The DCS/SCADA Control Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and SCADA systems for industrial facilities. The role ensures reliable automation, seamless communication between control equipment, and efficient plant operations. The engineer collaborates with project teams during installation, commissioning, and system upgrades while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of industrial communication protocols are essential for maintaining safe and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and implement DCS and SCADA control systems.
Perform system testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network communication issues.
Develop control logic, HMI graphics, and engineering documentation.
Integrate PLCs, RTUs, and field instrumentation with control systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance and system performance optimization.
Ensure compliance with client specifications and safety standards.
Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
