Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

The Cybersecurity Specialist will help protect enterprise systems, applications, networks, and data from cyber threats.
The role involves identifying security risks, monitoring security events, investigating incidents, and implementing appropriate controls.
The specialist will collaborate with IT, cloud, infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
The position requires knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat management, security technologies, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor security environments for suspicious activities, vulnerabilities, and potential threats.
Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents according to established procedures.
Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation of identified security weaknesses.
Implement and maintain security controls across applications, networks, systems, and cloud environments.
Analyze security logs, alerts, and threat intelligence to identify potential risks.
Support security assessments, audits, risk analyses, and compliance activities.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, standards, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to implement secure-by-design practices.
Assist with identity and access management, authentication, and authorization controls.
Provide recommendations for improving cybersecurity resilience and reducing organizational risk.
