Job Description
The Hotel/Resort Operations Manager oversees daily hospitality operations to ensure efficient service delivery and a high-quality guest experience. The role coordinates departments such as front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, guest services, and facilities. The manager monitors operational performance, staff productivity, service quality, and guest satisfaction. The position also supports financial performance while ensuring compliance with safety and hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day hotel or resort operations across multiple departments.
Coordinate front-office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest-service activities.
Establish and monitor service-quality standards.
Supervise, coach, and develop operational staff.
Handle guest complaints and resolve service issues effectively.
Monitor occupancy, revenue, operating costs, and departmental performance.
Coordinate maintenance, facilities, health, and safety requirements.
Develop procedures to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and hospitality partners.
Prepare operational reports and performance updates for senior management.
