Retail Operations Manager

Job Description

The Retail Operations Manager oversees the operational performance of BP Europa SE retail sites, including service stations and associated customer-facing facilities. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of customer service, safety, compliance, and commercial performance. The manager works with site teams to improve operational efficiency, sales results, and customer satisfaction. This position also supports the implementation of company policies, retail standards, and business improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations across assigned retail and service station locations.
Monitor sales, profitability, customer service, and operational performance.
Lead and support retail site managers and frontline employees.
Ensure sites maintain required health, safety, security, and environmental standards.
Monitor fuel, merchandise, inventory, and other operational activities.
Develop initiatives to improve customer experience and retail performance.
Review operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
Coordinate maintenance, facilities, equipment, and site improvement activities.
Coach employees and support workforce planning, training, and performance development.
