Job Description

The Procurement Supply Chain Executive is responsible for ensuring the seamless procurement, inventory replenishment, and supplier coordination required to maintain product availability across Blinkit’s fulfillment centers and dark stores. The role involves managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with vendors and warehouse teams, and supporting supply chain operations in a fast-paced quick-commerce environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work under tight timelines.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Create, review, and process purchase orders accurately and on time.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and product availability.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment to prevent stock shortages.
Track supplier deliveries and resolve delays or discrepancies in coordination with vendors.
Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and category teams to ensure smooth inbound operations.
Analyze procurement data, fill rates, and inventory performance to improve supply chain efficiency.
Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase documentation, and supplier databases.
Negotiate delivery schedules and coordinate with vendors to meet operational requirements.
Monitor key supply chain KPIs such as stock availability, purchase order aging, and inventory accuracy.
Identify procurement risks and recommend corrective actions to minimize supply disruptions.
