Supply Chain Planner

Job Description

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for coordinating supply and production planning to ensure materials and finished products are available when required. The role balances customer demand, production capacity, inventory levels, and material availability. The planner works closely with procurement, production, logistics, sales, and customer service teams to maintain a reliable supply chain. The position also monitors planning performance and identifies opportunities to improve inventory efficiency and delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain supply, production, and material plans based on customer demand and business requirements.
Analyze demand forecasts, orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure manufacturing plans meet customer delivery requirements.
Monitor raw material availability and coordinate with procurement teams to prevent shortages.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
Identify potential supply constraints and develop mitigation plans.
Monitor production and supply performance against planned schedules.
Coordinate with logistics teams regarding shipment schedules and finished-goods availability.
Update planning systems and maintain accurate master data, forecasts, and planning parameters.
Analyze supply chain KPIs such as inventory, service level, schedule adherence, and delivery performance.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, inventory, and supply chain processes.
