Job Description

The Process Engineer – Wire Drawing is responsible for optimizing wire-drawing processes to achieve high productivity, consistent quality, and efficient material utilization.
The role focuses on process parameters, tooling, equipment performance, and continuous improvement across wire-drawing operations.
The engineer works closely with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing performance.
The position also supports process standardization, cost reduction, safety improvement, and implementation of new technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, optimize, and standardize wire-drawing processes and operating parameters.
Analyze production data to identify process losses, defects, and productivity constraints.
Improve drawing speeds, die performance, lubrication, and material flow.
Investigate root causes of wire breaks, dimensional variations, surface defects, and other process issues.
Work with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Support selection, testing, and qualification of drawing dies, tools, and process materials.
Develop and maintain process specifications, work instructions, and technical documentation.
Lead continuous-improvement projects focused on yield, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and availability.
