Maintenance Technician (Electromechanical)
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician (Electromechanical) is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment across the manufacturing facility. The role ensures that production machinery operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. The technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The position also works closely with production and engineering teams to identify equipment issues and improve plant reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures.
Diagnose faults using electrical diagrams, technical manuals, and appropriate testing equipment.
Repair or replace defective motors, sensors, switches, drives, bearings, belts, and other components.
Carry out planned maintenance activities according to established maintenance schedules.
Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts, and equipment failures.
Follow electrical, mechanical, HSE, and plant safety procedures during all maintenance activities.
Support equipment installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement projects.
Work with production and engineering teams to identify recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
