Production Engineer

Job Description

The Production Engineer supports the manufacturing and assembly of aerospace components and aircraft systems. The role focuses on improving production methods, reducing manufacturing delays, and ensuring efficient use of resources. The engineer works closely with production, quality, maintenance, and design teams to resolve technical issues. The position also contributes to continuous improvement, process optimization, and compliance with Airbus manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize production processes for aerospace components and assemblies.
Analyze production problems and implement effective technical solutions.
Support production teams with engineering guidance and technical documentation.
Improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and process reliability.
Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Coordinate with quality teams to address manufacturing defects and non-conformities.
Support the introduction of new products, tools, equipment, and manufacturing methods.
Ensure production activities comply with aerospace standards, procedures, and safety requirements.
Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and production performance analyses.
Participate in Lean Manufacturing and cost-reduction initiatives.
