Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production machinery, industrial equipment, tools, and facility systems used in aerospace manufacturing operations. The role focuses on preventing equipment failures and ensuring reliable production availability. The technician performs preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities. The position works closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment faults.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance requests.
Inspect machinery and identify potential failures before they affect production.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
Replace damaged components and carry out equipment repairs when required.
Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new production equipment.
Follow maintenance procedures, safety rules, and technical instructions.
Coordinate with engineering teams on equipment improvements and modifications.
Monitor equipment availability, downtime, and maintenance performance indicators.
