Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
The role helps ensure machinery operates safely, reliably, and efficiently while minimizing unplanned downtime.
The technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance and supports equipment improvement activities.
The position works closely with production and engineering teams to maintain operational continuity and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
Inspect machinery and identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems.
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and restore machinery to operational condition.
Execute planned maintenance activities according to approved schedules.
Record maintenance activities, equipment faults, repairs, and replacement parts.
Support root-cause investigations into recurring equipment failures.
Maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance equipment appropriately.
Follow safety procedures, maintenance standards, and permit-to-work requirements.
Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance without unnecessary disruption.
Support installation, commissioning, modification, and testing of new equipment.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
Maintain accurate equipment and maintenance records.
