Job Description

The Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for protecting industrial control, automation, and operational technology environments from cyber threats.
The role focuses on securing PLCs, SCADA systems, DCS platforms, industrial networks, and connected plant technologies.
The engineer works closely with OT, IT, engineering, and plant operations teams to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen security controls.
The position also supports cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, risk assessments, and compliance with applicable industrial security standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cybersecurity controls for ICS and OT environments.
Monitor industrial networks and control systems for suspicious or unauthorized activity.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and cybersecurity risk assessments for OT assets.
Develop and maintain secure network segmentation between IT and OT environments.
Support incident detection, investigation, containment, and recovery activities.
Review and strengthen security configurations for PLC, SCADA, DCS, and related systems.
Maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with plant engineering and IT teams during system upgrades and security projects.
Support patch management and secure change-management activities for industrial systems.
Participate in cybersecurity audits and compliance assessments.
