IT Project Manager

Job Description

The IT Project Manager at Fluxys Belgium is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology projects aligned with organizational objectives. The role manages projects from initiation through implementation while maintaining control over scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. The Project Manager coordinates internal technology teams, business stakeholders, external suppliers, and other project participants. The position ensures that technology initiatives are delivered efficiently while meeting business, operational, security, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and manage IT projects from initiation through successful implementation and closure.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
Coordinate project teams across IT, business, infrastructure, security, and external suppliers.
Monitor project budgets, resources, schedules, risks, and dependencies.
Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Track project progress and prepare regular status reports for management.
Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality, security, and technical standards.
Manage changes to project scope and assess their impact on cost and schedule.
Support user acceptance, deployment, transition, and post-implementation activities.
