Project Manager
Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for leading oil and gas projects from concept and planning through execution, commissioning, and closeout. The role coordinates multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, construction, operations, HSE, and contractor activities to achieve project objectives. The position requires strong control of scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, and stakeholder requirements. The Project Manager supports BlueNord’s objective of maximizing the value and reliability of its operational assets while maintaining disciplined project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead oil and gas projects from initial concept through completion and handover.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and execution strategies.
Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and expenditure.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams.
Manage contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project service providers.
Establish project risk registers and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Ensure projects meet approved technical, quality, HSE, cost, and schedule requirements.
Monitor project progress and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
Manage project changes, variations, claims, and commercial issues.
Coordinate procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry requirements.
Conduct project reviews and capture lessons learned for future projects.
