Travel Consultant
Job Description
The Travel Consultant is responsible for helping customers plan and book holidays that match their travel preferences, budgets, and requirements. The role involves understanding customer needs, recommending suitable destinations, flights, hotels, packages, and additional travel services. The consultant provides professional advice throughout the booking journey and ensures a smooth customer experience. The position also contributes to sales targets by identifying opportunities to promote relevant TUI travel products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with customers to understand their holiday preferences, budgets, and travel requirements.
Recommend suitable destinations, accommodation, flights, excursions, and holiday packages.
Prepare accurate quotations and manage customer bookings from enquiry through confirmation.
Explain travel itineraries, booking conditions, payment requirements, and cancellation policies.
Promote TUI holiday products, upgrades, insurance, excursions, and other relevant services.
Maintain accurate customer and booking information in internal reservation systems.
Handle customer questions, changes, cancellations, and booking-related issues professionally.
Meet individual and team sales, service, and customer satisfaction targets.
Keep up to date with destinations, travel regulations, seasonal offers, and TUI products.
Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat bookings.
