Marketing Manager – Tourism
Job Description
The Marketing Manager – Tourism develops and executes marketing strategies designed to promote DFDS travel services, destinations, routes, and tourism experiences. The role focuses on increasing brand awareness, customer engagement, bookings, and revenue through digital and traditional marketing activities. The manager works with internal teams and external partners to develop compelling tourism campaigns. Strong knowledge of travel marketing, digital channels, market research, analytics, and campaign management is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement tourism marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Plan campaigns promoting routes, destinations, ferry travel, accommodation, and experiences.
Manage digital marketing activities across websites, social media, email, and other channels.
Conduct market and competitor research to identify tourism trends and opportunities.
Develop customer-focused content, promotional materials, and campaign messaging.
Monitor campaign performance using relevant marketing and business analytics.
Manage marketing budgets and optimize spending across campaigns.
Collaborate with tourism boards, travel agencies, hotels, and strategic partners.
Identify opportunities to increase bookings, customer engagement, and repeat travel.
Track customer behavior and market trends to improve future marketing strategies.
