Job Description

The Tour Guide is responsible for creating informative, enjoyable, and well-organized experiences for customers visiting destinations connected to DFDS travel routes. The role involves welcoming guests, explaining destinations, and providing information about local attractions, history, culture, and facilities. The guide ensures that tours operate according to schedule while prioritizing guest safety and satisfaction. Excellent communication, destination knowledge, organization, and interpersonal skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist guests participating in tours and excursions.
Provide informative commentary about destinations, attractions, and local culture.
Lead groups according to established tour itineraries and schedules.
Ensure guests receive clear instructions regarding meeting points and timings.
Answer customer questions and provide destination-related recommendations.
Monitor group safety and respond appropriately to unexpected situations.
Coordinate with transportation providers, attractions, hotels, and other partners.
Manage tour schedules and ensure activities run efficiently.
Handle customer concerns and provide professional assistance during tours.
Collect customer feedback and communicate service improvement opportunities.
