Job Description
The Travel Consultant is responsible for assisting customers in planning and arranging travel experiences, including ferry journeys, accommodation, transportation, and related services. The role involves understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable travel options. The consultant provides accurate information about schedules, fares, routes, and travel policies while ensuring a smooth booking experience. Strong communication, destination knowledge, and customer-service skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers with travel planning and itinerary requirements.
Recommend suitable ferry routes, travel packages, and accommodation options.
Handle customer inquiries through phone, email, online, or in-person channels.
Prepare quotations and provide accurate pricing information.
Process travel reservations, amendments, cancellations, and refunds.
Explain travel conditions, policies, schedules, and required documentation.
Resolve customer concerns and provide appropriate travel solutions.
Maintain accurate customer and booking records in reservation systems.
Coordinate with internal teams and external travel partners when required.
Stay updated on routes, destinations, travel regulations, and promotional offers.
