Tour Guide / Excursion Coordinator

Job Description

The Tour Guide / Excursion Coordinator helps passengers discover destinations and make the most of their travel experience. The role may coordinate shore excursions, destination activities, transfers, schedules, and passenger information. It requires excellent communication, organizational skills, destination knowledge, and a strong understanding of customer service. The position works with internal teams and external tourism partners to ensure excursions operate smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate passenger excursions, tours, transfers, and destination activities.
Provide guests with accurate information about destinations, attractions, schedules, and meeting points.
Organize passenger groups and ensure timely departure and return according to planned schedules.
Liaise with local tour operators, transport providers, attractions, and destination partners.
Deliver engaging and informative destination briefings to passengers.
Monitor excursion schedules and respond quickly to delays or unexpected changes.
Assist passengers with questions, special requirements, and destination-related concerns.
Maintain accurate excursion bookings, passenger lists, and operational records.
Support safe and orderly passenger movement during shore activities.
Collect passenger feedback and recommend improvements to excursion services.
