IT Project Manager

Job Description

The IT Project Manager will lead technology projects from initiation and planning through execution, delivery, and closure.
The role involves coordinating technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and other project participants to achieve project objectives.
The project manager will manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, resources, and project quality while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
The position requires strong leadership, communication, stakeholder-management, and project governance skills.

Key Responsibilities
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource requirements, and budgets.
Coordinate cross-functional technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, deliverables, costs, timelines, and resource utilization.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
Communicate project status, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders and senior management.
Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and external partners.
Ensure projects follow organizational governance, security, compliance, and quality standards.
Facilitate project meetings, reviews, workshops, and decision-making sessions.
Lead project closure activities, documentation, lessons learned, and post-implementation reviews.
