HSE Advisor

Job Description

The HSE Advisor provides specialist health, safety, security, and environmental guidance across BP Europa SE operations. The role supports the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and risk-management programs to maintain a safe working environment. The advisor works with employees, contractors, and operational teams to identify hazards and reduce workplace risks. The position also supports incident investigations, compliance activities, audits, and continuous improvement of HSE performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional HSE advice and guidance to operational and management teams.
Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety reviews.
Identify hazards and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
Support investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental events.
Monitor compliance with company HSE standards and applicable legal requirements.
Develop and deliver HSE awareness, training, and toolbox-talk programs.
Maintain HSE documentation, records, reports, and performance metrics.
Participate in internal and external HSE audits and compliance assessments.
Support emergency preparedness, response planning, and safety exercises.
Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across operational teams.
