Plant Manager
Job Description
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance, productivity, safety, quality, and financial performance of the manufacturing facility. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, engineering, and HSE functions. The Plant Manager ensures that customer requirements are met while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and employee safety. The position drives continuous improvement, cost optimization, capacity development, and long-term plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the overall operations and performance of the manufacturing plant.
Develop and execute plant strategies aligned with business and corporate objectives.
Establish production, quality, safety, cost, delivery, and productivity targets.
Monitor plant KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve operational performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, HSE requirements, and applicable regulations.
Lead production, maintenance, engineering, quality, supply chain, and other plant functions.
Optimize manufacturing processes, equipment utilization, workforce productivity, and plant capacity.
Drive lean manufacturing, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage plant budgets, operating costs, capital expenditure, and cost-reduction programs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Identify operational risks and establish effective business continuity and mitigation plans.
Lead organizational development, talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
