HSE Advisor
Job Description
The HSE Advisor is responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental standards at the plant or operational site. The role provides guidance to employees and management on workplace safety, environmental compliance, and risk prevention. The position conducts inspections, audits, risk assessments, and safety training programs. The HSE Advisor also supports incident investigations and ensures corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, standards, and programs across the facility.
Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety observations, and HSE compliance audits.
Identify workplace hazards and perform risk assessments for operational activities.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Develop and monitor corrective and preventive action plans following incidents and audits.
Conduct HSE induction, toolbox talks, awareness sessions, and employee training.
Monitor compliance with applicable occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain HSE records, reports, inspection findings, incident statistics, and compliance documentation.
Support emergency preparedness programs, including fire safety and emergency response drills.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and management teams to improve safety performance.
Promote a proactive safety culture and encourage employee participation in HSE initiatives.
Support environmental programs involving waste management, emissions, energy use, and resource conservation.
