HSE Officer
Job Description
The HSE Officer supports the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental standards across oil and gas operations.
The role helps identify workplace hazards and ensures appropriate risk-control measures are implemented.
The position conducts inspections, audits, safety training, and incident investigations.
The HSE Officer works with employees and contractors to promote a strong safety culture and maintain regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
Conduct regular workplace, plant, drilling, and field safety inspections.
Identify hazards and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Support risk assessments, job safety analyses, and permit-to-work processes.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Maintain HSE records, reports, inspection findings, and corrective actions.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
Monitor contractor HSE performance and compliance.
Support emergency response drills and preparedness activities.
