Job Description
The Project Finance Manager (French Speaking) is responsible for structuring, negotiating, and managing project financing for renewable energy and infrastructure projects across French-speaking regions. The role involves collaborating with lenders, investors, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful financial closure and project execution. The candidate will oversee financial modeling, risk assessment, and compliance with financing agreements while supporting strategic business growth. Fluency in French and English is essential to effectively manage cross-border financial transactions and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed financial models for renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
Lead project financing activities, including debt raising, refinancing, and financial close.
Negotiate financing agreements with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
Coordinate with legal, technical, and commercial teams during project development.
Perform financial due diligence and evaluate investment opportunities.
Monitor compliance with loan agreements, covenants, and financial obligations.
Prepare financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, government agencies, and investment partners.
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investment initiatives when required.
