Workshop HSE Officer (Electronics Safety)

Job Description

The Workshop HSE Officer (Electronics Safety) is responsible for promoting a safe working environment within Sulzer’s workshop operations by implementing health, safety, and environmental policies. The role focuses on electrical safety, hazard identification, compliance audits, and employee safety awareness programs. The officer works closely with workshop teams to prevent workplace incidents and ensure regulatory compliance. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a strong safety culture throughout all workshop activities.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
Monitor compliance with electrical safety regulations and HSE policies.
Investigate incidents and recommend preventive actions.
Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to employees.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain safety documentation, permits, and inspection records.
Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and response activities.
Promote continuous improvement in workplace health, safety, and environmental performance.
