Geophysicist

Job Description

A Geophysicist at SLB analyzes seismic and geophysical data to improve understanding of subsurface geology and support exploration, reservoir characterization, and development activities. The role involves data acquisition, processing, interpretation, quality control, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate subsurface models.

Key Responsibilities
Interpret seismic and geophysical data to identify subsurface structures and reservoirs.
Perform quality control (QC) and validation of geophysical datasets.
Support seismic data acquisition, processing, and imaging projects.
Develop geological and geophysical models for exploration and field development.
Collaborate with geologists, petrophysicists, reservoir engineers, and drilling teams.
Provide technical recommendations to improve data quality and project outcomes.
Communicate technical findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with HSE and company standards.
