We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Procurement Officer – Engineer (Team Leader) to lead our procurement function for high-end interior design and fit-out projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering and proven leadership skills in procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the procurement team in sourcing materials and subcontractors for all interior fit-out and joinery projects
• Review technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications to ensure accurate procurement planning
• Coordinate closely with design, commercial, and site teams to align procurement timelines with project delivery schedules
• Prepare and manage RFQs, quotation comparisons, negotiations, and final supplier selection
• Maintain and improve the approved vendor list, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery standards are met
• Oversee contract terms, payment schedules, and performance tracking of suppliers and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with project budgets and company procurement policies
• Report to senior management on procurement status, risks, and opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Architecture, or related)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement for interior fit-out and joinery projects, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role
• Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers for fit-out materials, finishes, and FF&E
• Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement packages simultaneously
• Local (UAE) experience is a must
