Recruitment Coordinator – Crewing
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
As a Recruitment Coordinator in Crewing Department, you will be responsible for assisting Crewing Team Leaders and/or Officers in recruiting and resourcing full offshore crew requirements to ensure timely vessel rotation and avoid any delays.
- Follow instructions from Crewing Team Leader with offshore staff requirements.
- Monitor Crew certificates for all applying seafarers (officers & crew).
- Recruit and find suitable resources as per company selection and salary criteria.
- Track all STCW training requirements and validity ensuring courses do not expire during term of employment contract before any employment.
- Track all ZMI documents related to all Crew and ensure to comply with ZMI SHEQ policies
- Update and maintains a daily recruitment record with complete details
- Keep a detailed Master List of all recruitment process, planned and carried out complete with dates.
- Reviewing and verifying crew certificates and sea service.
- Follow the interview process and follow up with concerned department.
- Monitor and track recruitment process done through manning agencies
- Ensure to provide the correct Contracts and Job Descriptions of all new crew before joining.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in any related field
- 2 years of Crew Recruitment experience in Marine Industry
- Excellent Communication Skills especially in dealing with different nationalities
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to perform without supervision and assistance
- Experience in ERP Systems is a plus
