Network Engineer

Job Description

The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Zain Kuwait’s telecommunications and enterprise network infrastructure. The role ensures secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across mobile, fiber, and corporate networks. Engineers work closely with vendors, operations teams, and technology specialists to optimize network performance and support business growth. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of modern networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, and network devices.
Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime.
Troubleshoot network faults and connectivity issues.
Support mobile, IP, MPLS, and enterprise network operations.
Perform network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
Implement network security policies and access controls.
Coordinate with vendors during maintenance and deployment activities.
Prepare network diagrams, documentation, and technical reports.
