IT Project Manager
Job Description
The IT Project Manager will lead technology projects from planning and initiation through implementation and completion.
The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
The Project Manager will ensure that technology initiatives are delivered according to agreed business requirements, quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
The position requires strong leadership, communication, organization, and knowledge of modern IT project-management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
Coordinate software developers, engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and external partners.
Monitor project progress, costs, resources, and delivery milestones.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies.
Communicate project status, issues, and decisions to stakeholders.
Facilitate project meetings, workshops, planning sessions, and reviews.
Manage changes to project scope and ensure appropriate approval processes.
Ensure projects meet quality, security, compliance, and technical requirements.
Coordinate testing, deployment, implementation, and project closure activities.
Maintain project documentation and reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve project-management processes and delivery efficiency.
Support Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or other appropriate delivery methodologies.
