About the Role
The HR Manager at the UAE National Orchestra (UAENO) will play a pivotal role in aligning human resources strategies with the organization’s mission to foster artistic excellence. This position involves developing and implementing HR strategies, managing the HR budget, and optimizing policies and processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. The HR Manager will oversee talent acquisition, workforce planning, and learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement. They will lead performance management initiatives, manage employee relations, and develop competitive compensation and benefits structures. Additionally, the HR Manager will maintain strategic relationships with external partners to support UAENO’s HR needs, ensuring a high-performing and motivated workforce.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification from CIPD, SHRM, or HRCI is required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years in HR, with at least 3-4 years of experience as an HR manager or HRBP.
- Proven track record of HR operations management, including talent acquisition, performance management, and compensation.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent strategic planning and execution abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in the UAE musical or cultural industry.
- Expert knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance within the music industry.
