Software Engineer

Job Description

The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and digital solutions for Telenor’s technology environment.
The role involves translating business and technical requirements into scalable and reliable software products.
The engineer will work closely with product managers, architects, QA teams, and other technology professionals.
The position also requires continuous improvement of application performance, security, quality, and development practices.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
Analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, or frontend applications as required.
Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Participate in code reviews and follow established software development standards.
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, product, security, and infrastructure teams.
Monitor application performance and resolve production issues.
Implement secure coding practices and appropriate software security controls.
Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies, technical documentation, and continuous improvement
