QA / Test Engineer

Job Description

The QA / Test Engineer will ensure that software applications meet functional, technical, performance, security, and quality requirements. The role involves designing test strategies, preparing test cases, executing tests, and identifying defects throughout the development lifecycle. The engineer will collaborate with developers, analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues. Experience with both manual and automated testing practices is valuable.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases.
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and acceptance testing.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
Execute API and database testing.
Validate software against business and technical requirements.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and development activities.
Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve defects.
Maintain test documentation and quality reports.
