Job Description

The Retail Network Development Specialist supports the expansion, optimization, and performance improvement of the retail network. The role evaluates potential locations, market opportunities, and commercial factors to support network growth and investment decisions. The specialist works with internal teams, business partners, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the development process. The position also monitors network performance and identifies opportunities to improve the competitiveness and customer experience of retail sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate potential locations for new retail network development.
Conduct market, competitor, demographic, and commercial analysis for prospective sites.
Support feasibility studies and business cases for new retail locations and network investments.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders on site selection, development, and approval activities.
Work with landlords, developers, contractors, and external partners during network development.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, milestones, and development requirements.
Support negotiations and commercial assessments related to potential retail locations.
Analyze existing network performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
Recommend network expansion, relocation, refurbishment, or closure opportunities based on business analysis.
Ensure development activities comply with relevant company standards, regulatory requirements, and HSSE expectations.
Prepare presentations, reports, and investment recommendations for management review.
Track market trends and competitor developments that may affect retail network strategy.
Support continuous improvement of retail site standards, customer experience, and commercial performance.
