Quality Control Manager
Job Description
The Quality Control Manager will lead quality control activities supporting pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturing operations in Singapore. The role is responsible for ensuring laboratory activities, testing processes and quality systems comply with GMP and applicable regulatory requirements. The manager will provide technical and operational leadership to QC teams while supporting investigations, audits and continuous improvement. Sanofi currently has a QC Manager, Microbiology position at its Tuas site, reflecting the importance of QC leadership within the Singapore manufacturing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day Quality Control laboratory operations.
Manage and develop QC analysts, technicians and laboratory professionals.
Ensure testing activities comply with GMP and approved procedures.
Oversee microbiological, analytical or raw-material testing activities as applicable.
Review and approve laboratory results, reports and technical documentation.
Lead investigations into OOS, OOT, deviations and laboratory incidents.
Support CAPA, change control and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure laboratory equipment is appropriately qualified, maintained and calibrated.
Prepare QC teams for internal, customer and regulatory inspections.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, Engineering and other technical functions.
Monitor QC performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement.
