Job Description

The Service Technician will perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing activities for automotive vehicles and related systems. The role requires strong practical knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems. The technician will diagnose technical problems, carry out repairs, and ensure vehicles are returned to safe and reliable operating condition. The position requires attention to detail, technical accuracy, and adherence to workshop safety procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect vehicles and automotive systems to identify technical problems.
Perform scheduled maintenance and preventive servicing activities.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle faults.
Repair or replace defective components and automotive parts.
Use diagnostic equipment and technical tools to identify system failures.
Conduct post-repair testing to verify vehicle performance and safety.
Follow manufacturer specifications and approved service procedures.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts, and service activities.
Report complex technical issues to senior engineers or workshop management.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
