Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

The Quality Control Inspector will inspect automotive components, assemblies, prototypes, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality and technical specifications. The role involves performing measurements, identifying defects, documenting inspection results, and supporting corrective actions. The inspector will work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to maintain high standards throughout the manufacturing and development process. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of automotive quality requirements are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect automotive components, assemblies, and finished products against specifications.
Perform dimensional, visual, functional, and quality inspections.
Use measuring instruments and inspection equipment accurately.
Identify defects, deviations, and non-conforming materials or products.
Record inspection findings and maintain accurate quality documentation.
Support investigations into quality problems and recurring defects.
Coordinate with production and engineering teams on corrective actions.
Verify that corrective and preventive actions have been effectively implemented.
Ensure inspection activities follow company quality procedures and applicable standards.
Contribute to continuous quality improvement and defect-reduction initiatives.
