Job Description

The Data Analyst transforms business and operational data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making. The role involves collecting, analysing, validating, and presenting data from multiple sources across the organisation. The analyst works with business and technology teams to identify trends, performance opportunities, and potential issues. The position requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and proficiency with data analysis and visualisation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, validate, and analyse data from multiple business systems.
Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs for business stakeholders.
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through quantitative analysis.
Translate business requirements into meaningful data and reporting solutions.
Use SQL and analytical tools to extract and manipulate datasets.
Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular performance insights.
Investigate data-quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and business departments.
Maintain documentation relating to datasets, reports, metrics, and analytical processes.
