Refining Maintenance Turnaround Planner

Job Description

Qatargas is hiring a Refining Maintenance Turnaround Planner to coordinate and plan maintenance turnaround activities for critical refinery and gas processing assets. The role ensures maintenance work is effectively planned, scheduled, and executed to minimize plant downtime while maintaining safety, quality, and cost efficiency. The planner collaborates with engineering, operations, procurement, and contractors to prepare detailed turnaround work packages. The position plays a key role in ensuring successful turnaround execution and continuous operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed turnaround schedules and maintenance work plans.
Prepare job packages including manpower, materials, tools, and equipment requirements.
Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance activities.
Monitor turnaround progress and update schedules as required.
Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Ensure spare parts and materials are available before shutdown activities.
Maintain planning documentation using CMMS systems such as SAP PM.
Support post-turnaround reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
