Planning Engineer

Job Description

Petrofac is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring activities across engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing project schedules, tracking project performance, and ensuring timely project delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project milestones.
Monitor project progress and analyze schedule deviations.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for stakeholders.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedule compliance.
Conduct delay analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Support resource planning, cost control, and forecasting activities.
Participate in project review meetings and provide planning insights.
Ensure adherence to project management standards and company procedures.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
