- The Events Specialist is a dynamic and creative professional responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events to support Oxagon’s business objectives. Working closely with the Events Manager to deliver end to end logistics, planning and execution for local and international in-person, digital and hybrid events ranging in size from intimate roundtables to full-day events, including webinars, workshops, and multi-sponsored events, as well as tradeshows and standalone activations in key source markets.
- In conjunction with the Events Manager, you will develop experiential assets such as the NEOM Experience Center and Oxagon Investor Experience Center. You will lead operationally for the Oxagon Investor Center, liaising with internal teams daily, Community Services, Facility Management, Health and Safety and Investments teams, being the key point of contact for the center, ensuring the Investment team’s requirements are met, and the UX/UI journey is always considered. You will be responsible for the centers strategy, including detailed standard operating systems.
- As an Events Specialist with a strong background in Audio-Visual and technical expertise, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing various events that require specialized AV and technical setups, to meet the wider organizational goals and enhance the brand experience and visibility, with bespoke content to specific demographics.
- You will be able to build strong and durable relationships with both colleagues and vendors. Understanding briefs and negotiating budgets is also a key part of the job. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and vendors to create memorable and successful events, ensuring seamless execution that relies on advanced audio-visual equipment and technical solutions. Your exceptional technical knowledge, attention to detail, organizational skills, and creative thinking will be key to your success in this role. You must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, using your own initiative and taking ownership of your streams.
Background, Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in event planning, coordination, and execution.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools. You have an excellent working knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work well under pressure. You are unphazed by tight deadlines and conflicting priorities and remain calm and collected under pressure.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required by events.
- You should be willing to relocate to NEOM from the outset.
