Job Description
The Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC) Lead oversees security monitoring, incident detection, and response activities across the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role leads the SOC team in identifying cyber threats, coordinating incident response, and improving the organization’s security posture. The SOC Lead ensures continuous monitoring of security systems while maintaining compliance with security standards and industry regulations. The position also develops security processes and enhances threat intelligence capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily Security Operations Center activities and security analysts.
Monitor security alerts using SIEM and threat detection platforms.
Coordinate investigation and response to cybersecurity incidents.
Develop incident response procedures and security playbooks.
Perform threat hunting and vulnerability assessments.
Analyze security logs and identify potential attack patterns.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and organizational policies.
Prepare security incident reports and executive dashboards.
Coordinate with IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
Conduct security awareness sessions and mentor SOC personnel.
