Reinsurance Coordinator

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare approved quotation slip to send to the reinsurance market & liase with procuring the facultative support
• Assist the carrying out placement of risks with facultative market in adherence to company guidelines
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient and effective pre & post-placement process.
• Process all documents neatly and accurately within the month before month end closing (New Businesses, Mid Term Adjustments, Renewals, and other Policy Administration processes)
• Prepare, track and monitor receipt of reinsurance signed slips & follow-up for premium receivables & payables.
• Active follow up of signed reinsurance cover note / endorsement from market.
• Assist in the review of reinsurance documents to ensure contract is in line with agreed terms and conditions of the underwriter
• Assist in the back-to-back review of insurance policies in line with the signed slips
• Monitoring of reinsurance premium payments & produce periodical reports for timely payments within agreed dates
• Execute fac RI administrative tasks
• Coordinate internal and external meetings
• Any other job -related duties as assigned
• Document the closings for bound cases & provide to operations for premium & policy booking
