Service Technician

Job Description

The Service Technician will inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and technical procedures.
The role involves using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
The technician will ensure vehicles are serviced safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
The position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach to vehicle servicing.

Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance activities.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and technical vehicle faults.
Use approved diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle problems.
Repair or replace defective components according to technical specifications.
Conduct inspections and vehicle health checks before and after service activities.
Follow manufacturer repair procedures, workshop standards, and safety requirements.
Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and service activities.
Conduct road tests where required to verify vehicle performance and repairs.
Escalate complex technical problems to senior technicians or engineering teams.
Maintain workshop tools, equipment, cleanliness, and safe working conditions.
