Drilling Supervisor

Job Description

The Drilling Supervisor oversees drilling and well construction activities at the rig site.
The role ensures that drilling operations are performed safely, efficiently, and according to approved programs.
The position coordinates rig personnel, contractors, service companies, and technical teams throughout drilling operations.
The supervisor monitors operational performance, resolves field issues, and ensures compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily drilling and well construction activities at the rig site.
Ensure drilling operations follow approved well programs and procedures.
Coordinate drilling contractors, service companies, and rig personnel.
Monitor drilling parameters, equipment performance, and operational progress.
Identify and resolve drilling problems and operational challenges.
Ensure proper well-control practices are maintained at all times.
Monitor contractor performance and compliance with safety requirements.
Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and operational reviews.
Maintain accurate daily drilling reports and operational documentation.
Coordinate with drilling engineers and management on operational decisions.
