About the Job:
The Contract & Vendor Management Officer will coordinate and, ensure effective administration of contract and vendor management section. The incumbent will assist Senior Contract & Vendor Management Officer with respect to pre bid meetings and drafting / execution/ negotiations/revisions/awarding contracts and contracts close out. The job holder will assist the Senior Officer in performing post-award contract compliance activities, as applicable, and in streamlining processes to meet sectional efficiency. The incumbent will guide the Vendor Management Coordinators in effective delivery of day-to-day tasks, and will ensure confidentiality of all records, and generation of reports, in line with the internal policies and procedures. The job holder will also assist in effective management of leased properties/tenant issue resolution.
Qualification, Experience and skills required
- University graduate with a degree in Business or Banking or Finance or any other related discipline.
- 05-08 years of total experience in financial services/banking industry, entailing responsibilities pertaining to the specific area of discipline.
- Experience in contract administration and/or vendor management related activities in banking industry.
- Knowledge of vendor evaluation techniques
- Good understanding of supplier or third party management software
- Knowledge of collecting and analyzing data and good at working with numbers
