Job Description
The Embedded Systems & Industrial IoT Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing intelligent embedded solutions that enable smart manufacturing and connected industrial environments. The role focuses on integrating hardware, firmware, cloud platforms, sensors, and industrial communication protocols to deliver scalable Industrial IoT (IIoT) applications. The architect collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams to create secure, high-performance embedded systems that improve operational efficiency. This position also drives technical innovation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design embedded system architectures for Industrial IoT applications.
Develop and integrate firmware for microcontrollers, processors, and edge devices.
Implement industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, OPC UA, and MQTT.
Collaborate with cloud engineers to integrate embedded devices with IoT platforms.
Optimize embedded software for reliability, performance, and power efficiency.
Perform hardware-software integration, testing, and debugging activities.
Ensure cybersecurity best practices for connected embedded devices.
Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and design specifications.
Mentor development teams on embedded technologies and industry best practices.
Support customer engagements, technical reviews, and solution demonstrations.
