Software Engineer

Job Description

The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and technology solutions for EPAM’s global clients. The role involves working with modern programming languages, frameworks, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies. The engineer will collaborate with architects, QA engineers, business analysts, and project teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, clean coding practices, and a commitment to continuous technical improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications.
Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
Develop and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and code optimization.
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.
Work with DevOps and cloud teams to support application deployment.
Investigate production issues and implement corrective solutions.
Continuously evaluate new technologies and development practices.
